Yuan-Bin Cheng

Zoanthid is a radial symmetry cnidarian with two rows of tentacles and is usually found on the rocky coast of subtropical and tropical areas. The various colors of zoanthids were due to the symbiotic relationships with single-celled zooxanthellae, such as dinoflagellates and green algae. Due to its fascinating colors, this sessile benthic organism often becomes ornamentals in aquariums.

​菟葵是一種放射狀對稱的腔腸動物，與珊瑚最大的不同再於它具有兩排的觸手，通常在亞熱帶及熱帶的礁岩上可以發現這類動物的蹤跡。它多變的顏色是由體內的共生藻(蟲黃藻或綠藻)所產生的，因為它具有美麗的顏色，這類固著性底棲生物也常被用來裝飾水族箱。
